For over 175 years, our shipmates have gone into harm's way... and they haven't always returned.
We live in a great country that values equality, opportunity, liberty, and democracy. It is for these values, and for the love of country, that our shipmates gave their lives. Their legacy lives on, though. We run to honor them. We swim to honor them. We bike to honor them.
In a spirit of camaraderie, we gather together in groups large and small, in the United States and abroad, to honor and celebrate them.
Mission Statement
The mission of Run To Honor is to preserve and perpetuate the legacy of Naval Academy Alumni lost in service to our Nation during combat or military operations.
Run To Honor does this by connecting Gold Star families, classmates and friends; memorializing our fallen brothers and sisters in Virtual Memorial Hall; and organizing memorial and athletic events.
